Nansubuga Nagadya Isdahl is the author of two books, Sleep Well, Siba and Saba and Sing to the Moon. Sing to the Moon was recently named the Children’s Africana Book Award Best Book of 2019 and Sleep Well, Siba and Saba was named a Kirkus Best Book of 2017.
As an award-winning children’s book author, Nansubuga writes stories for global audiences inspired by her Ugandan heritage. She also draws inspiration from her nearly two decades of work experience in global development and the cultural and creative industries, which has enabled her to live and work in several countries across Europe and Africa. Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the USA to Ugandan parents, Nansubuga currently lives in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
