Angellica Aribam is a political activist working to amplify women’s political leadership in India. Named one of Forbes India’s ‘30 Under 30’ in 2017, Angellica has been working on issues of race, gender, and the democratization of politics. She is a former National General Secretary of the NSUI (Indian National Congress) and was also the first student from the marginalised northeastern region to be elected in Delhi University. As a Fellow for women political leaders at Vital Voices – an NGO by Hillary Clinton – she was mentored by former Prime Ministers of Canada, New Zealand, and Peru as well as trained by professors of Harvard University. She has been featured widely in both national and international media. 

Having completed B.Sc (Honors) Biochemistry from Delhi University and Master’s in Public Policy from Peking University, Angellica is on a quest for learning. Her first book, with Hachette India, is slated for publication this year.
