Ashok Banker began writing at the age of nine and has written over 70 books, including the internationally acclaimed Ramayana Series and the recent Burnt Empire series. He is the author of I Am Brown, a children’s book that celebrates and embraces skin colour. His most recent children’s books include Vortal Shockwave, the Secret School Mysteries, and Rama’s Story. He lives in Los Angeles, USA, and Mumbai, India.
