Carol Ottley-Mitchell is based in St. Kitts-Nevis and is the author of fourteen children’s books. She enjoys writing for children and to positively impacting their lives. Most of her books are based in the Caribbean and provide children with an engaging peek into the culture, history, and geography of the Caribbean. Her most recent works include, Another Day, Pirates at Port Royal, Chee Chee’s Adventures and The Caribbean Adventure Series.
Carol’s books have been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award for Children’s Literature and have been short-listed for the 2016 Burt Award for Caribbean Literature. Carol is also the founder of CaribbeanReads Publishing which focuses on representing authors of the Caribbean.
