Revati Laul

Revati Laul is an independent journalist, filmmaker and the author of The Anatomy of Hate, published by Context, an imprint of Westland Books, in December 2018. The book chronicles the lives of three people who were variously associated with the violence against Muslims in the pogroms of 2002 in Gujarat. The writer’s main body of work leading up to this book and following from it has examined the roots of communal violence and religious polarisation as well as the use of storytelling to mitigate against it.
