Saumiya Balasubramaniam is a Children’s Books author, who currently lives in Toronto, Canada. Her debut picture book, When I found Grandma, was nominated for the 2020 Ezra Jack Keats award. It was featured in the Globe and Mail (“Seven books to help kids make sense of the world”) and by the CBC (“29 Canadian kids’ books and YA to look for 2019”). Her most recent picture book is, Two drops of brown in a cloud of white, that delicately explores the themes of immigration.
